Artist Biography

Lauren Zervos is completing her bachelor of fine arts degree at Maine College of Art & Design. She is an interdisciplinary artist with a concentration in Sculpture. Zervos is skilled in many different practices, including ceramics, metalsmithing and jewelry, painting, textile and fashion design. She explores concepts of childhood and memory by using natural materials to create organic forms which then depict certain memories of her life. Zervos was born and raised in Southern New Hampshire to two artistically talented parents. She decided to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career as an artist. Her work has been shown in the gallery spaces at Maine College of Art & Design. Zervos has worked closely with the non-profit Tarleton Castle Arts in Bath, New Hampshire.
